Learn about printmaking in two informal printmaking classes with exhibiting artist Anushiya Sundaralingam. 

Dry point printmaking is one of the most direct of the intaglio printing techniques. Lines (images) are scratched directly into a plastic with a sharp tool, ink is applied and then print is taken.  You can bring your drawings and images to the class to explore and experiment ideas to create a number of images. This is suitable for absolute beginners. 


Monotype Printing Workshop Postponed until October

Due to circumstances beyond our control this workshop has been postponed until October 

Learn about printmaking in two informal printmaking classes with exhibiting artist Anushiya Sundaralingam. Monotype printing is known as the most painterly method of printing techniques. This workshop will allows you to experiment with different texture materials such as leaves, grass, flowers, threads, lace etc. You will also have an opportunity to cut stencils which will allow you to work with different layers colours to create unique print. This workshop is suitable for absolute beginners. 


DJing and Beatmaking Workshop

DJ-ing and Beat making workshop with Bounce Culture.

Thursday 8 August

10:30am - 2pm session 1pm - 2:30pm session 2

Cost: £8 

Join Bounce Culture to learn how to mix, scratch and make your own beats.  The workshops are taught in small groups with everyone getting a chance to try both DJ-ing and beat making.  The instructors will lead you through a range of techniques to help you make amazing beats and learn essential DJ skills. 

Suitable for ages 13 - 17/places are very limited for each workshop so book in advance.
