Drypoint Printmaking

Saturday 29 June, 10am-4pm, Cost £20 

Learn about printmaking in two informal printmaking classes with exhibiting artist Anushiya Sundaralingham. 

Dry point printmaking is one of the most direct of the intaglio printing techniques. Lines (images) are scratched directly into a plastic with a sharp tool, ink is applied and then print is taken.  You can bring your drawings and images to the class to explore and experiment ideas to create a number of images. This is suitable for absolute beginners. 


Monotype Printing Workshop

Saturday 6 July, 10am-4pm, Cost £20

Learn about printmaking in two informal printmaking classes with exhibiting artist Anushiya Sundaralingham. Monotype printing is known as the most painterly method of printing techniques. This workshop will allows you to experiment with different texture materials such as leaves, grass, flowers, threads, lace etc. You will also have an opportunity to cut stencils which will allow you to work with different layers colours to create unique print. This workshop is suitable for absolute beginners.
