Off Her Head, Amanda Walker

11 January-24 February

Admission Free

Exhibition Launch: Thursday 11 January, 2pm. All welcome / Refreshments provided

Amanda produces work that mixes the seen and unseen, the real and the imaginary. This work delves deep into the subconscious and the soul. As the artist says, "I like to relate my subconscious with the hand that I sketch, paint or sculpt, most of the time not knowing what I am going to produce."

Born in the 1970s in Derry city, Amanda attended North West Regional College and later Wimbledon School of Art and Bath College of Higher education, where she studied for her degree in Fine Arts.

Her artistic journey has led to working as an illustrator with Guildhall Press; photography technician; craft work in potteries; supporting creative workshops; assisting with mental health charities and her own studio work at Bishop Street studios where she is currently based.
