walking the colours

As part of the North East PEACE III Cultural Fusions Project, this exhibition explores banners and local community traditions of parades, processions and marches, both historically and in contemporary times. Featuring a distinctive and colourful array of banners, regalia and musical instruments, the aim of the exhibition is to promote awareness of and understanding between these different traditions.
