the concert (le concert)

The second foreign language film to feature in our programme, it focuses on the Conductor of the illustrious Bolshoi Orchestra, who is fired for using Jewish musicians. When he intercepts an invitation for the Bolshoi to perform in Paris, he devises a plan to gather his own orchestra together to go in their place to make a triumphant return to the music scene.
