rainy afternoon film series

it’s a wonderful life (u)

This 1946 award-winning classic directed by Frank Capra is now regarded as one of the finest festive films ever made. An angel helps a desperate man on the edge realise what life would be like if he never existed. Set in the small community-oriented town of Bedford Falls, we follow George Bailey (played by the excellent James Stewart) as he reflects on his life, his loves and his future. Heart-warming and life affirming, this is one to watch on a rainy winter’s afternoon. Come watch it with us!
