Admission free to film society members and £4 to non-membersGuilt-stricken after a job gone wrong, hitman Ray and his partner await orders from their ruthless boss in Bruges, Belgium, the last place in the world Ray wants to be. Directed by Martin McDonagh whose screenplay was Oscar nominated, the film features stand out turns from Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson.
A wonderfully absurd film. McDonagh is never stuck for a brilliant kiss-off line. I doubt he’ll ever be stuck for an audience either. – James Christopher (The Times)
