keady gallery

Complimenting Craft NI’s Craft Month, this stunning exhibition features the work of five contemporary makers, spanning ceramics, glass, textiles and wood.

Rachel Dickson uses paper and ceramics to create fragile and meaningful contemporary crafts sculpture, exploring notions of memory, emotion and the physical self. She currently lectures at the University of Ulster.

Andrea Hayes is a textiles artist based in County Tyrone who uses a unique combination of textiles, painting and metal elements to create her hand made textile artworks.

Alison Lowry is an emerging maker, specialising in glass. Her work is innovative and contemporary; by combining traditional glass fusing techniques with more contemporary technologies, she creates a diverse and unique range of sculptural glass pieces.

Firebox Ceramics. John McKeag specialises in the technique of soda-glazing, producing wheel thrown tableware and exhibition pieces for the modern home.

Welig Crafts is a partnership between Clive Lyttle and Elaine Burke, who arrived at basketry through their shared interest in environmental conservation. Since 2004, they have been running their own business producing both bespoke functional basketry and sculptural forms.

This event has now expired. Upcoming events can be viewed on our homepage.
