drawing inspiration – rvacc birthday family fun day

If you or your kids love doodling, drawing, creating, sculpting and more, then come along to this unique event which we’re hosting in celebration of our second birthday (yes, we have been open two years and what a rollercoaster it has been!).
The event is also part of The Big Draw – the annual initiative by The Campaign for Drawing, an independent charity which raises the profile of drawing as a tool for thought, creativity, social and cultural engagement. The simple act of drawing has been undertaken by humankind since the earliest times, used to illustrate life, communicate personal and universal stories and share dreams, fears and hopes. We will have a host of guided drawing activities for you to participate in, no matter what your age or experience – from live animation demonstration for kids, to huge doodling sheets for everyone to contribute to, to a Chalk-a-Block extravaganza with pavement artists which will transform our Drumceatt Square, as well as a drawing workshop for adults which will take you out and about to draw the town centre landmarks. Extra fun will be provided by live entertainment and complimentary treats! You’re all invited to come along and join the fun!

Free Admission – Advance registration essential
