magilligan playgroup artwork on display in benone

Children and parents of Magilligan Community Playgroup joined the Mayor of Limavady, Cllr. Cathal McLaughlin and playgroup staff at Benone Complex on Tuesday afterrnoon to view their artwork. The work was undertaken as part of Council’s Arts Outreach programme in conjunction with Magilligan Community Association under the guidance of professional artist Donna Cummings. The aim was to give the children an idea of their local surroundings by allowing them to create collage pieces with feathers, shells and sand.
