limavady ancestry appeal – can you help?

Have you mapped out your family tree or discovered interesting letters, documents or photographs belonging to your ancestors when researching your family’s past?

As part of an upcoming heritage exhibition called Limavady Ancestry, we would like to display examples of local people’s family history research to inspire others to do the same.

The exhibition, which will open in November 2012, will draw together information collated as part of a project to provide people with the knowledge to source their family tree. From  census records and wills, to church records and gravestone inscriptions, the exhibition will look at the different types of sources and documents that exist and will explain how these can be of use when researching your family’s history.

To have your items considered for inclusion in the exhibition or for further information please contact: Victoria Newberry, Museum/Heritage Officer by Friday 28 September on Tel: 028 7776 0650 or Email: victoria.newberry@rvacc.co.uk.
