free walking tour: 1916 impact and legacy

This Thursday 10 November there is a free walking tour of Limavady in conjunction with the current exhibition ‘On the Brink, the politics of conflict 1914 – 1916′.

Alistair Harper is one of a small team of tour guides who have been researching stories of local people affected by the seismic events of 100 years ago, including The Easter Rising and The Battle of the Somme.  Alistair will be leading this unique tour which is supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
