From 1st April 2015, we will be part of the Causeway Coast & Glens District Council. This new ‘supercouncil’, produced through the Local Government Reform process in Northern Ireland, sees the uniting of our own former Limavady Borough Council with Ballymoney Borough Council, Coleraine Borough Council and Moyle District Council.

Stretching from our own Roe Valley to Ballycastle, Cushendall and beyond on the North Antrim coast, this is a stunning and vast geographical area, populated with areas of outstanding beauty, a historically important coastline, home to the world renowned world wonder Giants Causeway and the foot of the famous culturally rich Glens of Antrim.

This page will be used to highlight other main events and festivals which occur as part of our new wider cultural services unit throughout the new Causeway Coast and Glens area. Please watch this space for events listings as our amalgamation progresses. We join with our colleagues at Flowerfield Arts Centre, Portstewart of being the dedicated council arts venues. Ballymoney Town Hall is home to Ballymoney Museum as well as a range of great arts events and activities throughout the year. Ballycastle Museum is open seasonally and although the town does not have an arts venue, an arts programme is delivered across the area.
