DESCRIBE YOUR AVERAGE WORKING DAY
Every day is a surprise. My job is so wide ranged and varied that one day is never the same as the next. My role on a day-to-day basis involves comprehensive support to all team members across all areas from tourism, marketing, events and administration to the day-to-day running of the front desk and box office. I will usually be the first point of contact for all enquiries and visitors.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB?
What I enjoy most about my job is being part of the Centre, promoting the cultural delights that it and Limavady have to offer. Also, interacting and getting to know people is what makes the job really interesting and so rewarding.
WHAT’S SO SPECIAL ABOUT THE RVACC?
What is so special about the Centre is that it’s a contemporary space where young and old people alike can come and enjoy so many creative arts and cultural events. A favourite aspect of the RVACC for me is the gallery spaces that host many wonderful and beautiful exhibitions. A personal favourite from earlier this year is a painting ‘Three Ducks’ by Michael McGuinness.
GIVE IT UP: TELL US ABOUT YOUR FAVOURITE CULTURAL ACTS/ARTISTS/ARTY THINGS YOU LIKE TO DO
I enjoy the arts, as they have something to offer everyone. Whether it be art, dance or theatre, I find it all so inspiring!
