craft demonstrations get underway at green lane museum
Now it’s the middle of July, the summer season is well and truly upon us! We’re celebrating this special time of year at Green Lane Museum with a whole host of craft demonstrations designed to interest and inspire both young and old alike.
Last week, we had a quilling demonstration at the museum, exploring this lovely craft of paper filigree which creates ornamental patterns similar to ironwork.
The demonstration was well attended and grabbed the attention of a number of visitors to the museum.
Throughout July and August, various craft demonstrations will be taking place at the museum on selected Saturday afternoons.
The full programme is as follows:
16 July: Card Making
30 July: Glass Painting
6 August: Bobbin Lace
13 August: Lace, Patchwork and Appliqué
27 August: Finger Puppets
The demonstrations will be taking place between 2-4pm and are FREE, so why not come along and take a look when you’re out strolling in the park or having a cuppa in the cafe? This entry was posted on July 16th, 2011 at 7:18 pm by Victoria Newberry
